Ingredients |
- 1 cup butter, softened |
- 1 cup granulated sugar |
- 1 cup light brown sugar |
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract |
- 2 large eggs |
- 3 cups all-purpose flour |
- 1 teaspoon baking soda |
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder |
- 1 teaspoon sea salt |
- 2 cups chocolate chips |
Instructions |

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). |
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Set aside. |
3. In a large bowl, using a mixer, beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt together until creamy. |
4. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. |
5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. |
6. Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula or wooden spoon. |
7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie. |
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The centers may look slightly underbaked. |
9. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely. |
